Scottish referendum: Galloway claims 'working people damaged by Yes vote'
An independent Scotland will damage "the interests of the working people on both sides of the border", George Galloway has said.
The Respect MP and No campaigner warned that separation would prompt a "race to the bottom" in terms of tax between Scotland and the rest of the UK.
But economist Joseph Stiglitz, writing in the Sunday Herald and the Scotsman, has said there is "little basis" for "fear-mongering" over the economy of an independent Scotland, and that the risks of Scotland remaining in the union and of the UK leaving the EU would be "significantly greater".
