Alice Gross: Brother defends suspect as UK police visit Latvia

Detectives involved in the search for Alice Gross have gone to Latvia to try to find information about their main suspect.

Arnis Zalkalns is Latvian and was last seen a week after the teenager's disappearance.

Alice Gross was last seen walking by a canal in London, and Mr Zalkalns was seen in the same place very shortly afterwards.

He is a convicted murderer, having killed his wife before he moved to the UK, but his brother Janis Daksa says he has been portrayed unfairly.
