UK's deep shaft coal mines face closure without funding

The UK could be left without any deep shaft coal mines, if no funding is found for Hatfield Colliery near Doncaster.

There are three deep pits left in operation, but two are winding down and Hatfield faces closure.

Talks have been talking place to try and save the mine.
