Poppy Day: Stars lend voices to British Legion's Tube campaign

Celebrities such as Joanna Lumley and Arsene Wenger have lent their voices to a fundraising campaign for London Poppy Day.

The celebrities' appeals were played on trains and buses across the city on Thursday as part of the Royal British Legion's annual appeal.

To mark the centenary of the First World War, Transport for London also created a special poppy design which was displayed on all Tube and Docklands Light Railway trains, the Emirates Air Line cabins and trams.
