Father criticises plan to restrict return of Syria fighters

David Cameron has said British jihadis who go abroad to join Islamic extremists will only be allowed to return to the UK under certain conditions.

The government has outlined plans which would ban jihadis from coming back to Britain for two years unless they are facing prosecution or agree to be closely supervised.

Abubaker Deghayes's three sons went to fight in Syria - two of them, Jaffar and Abdullah, died.

He said there is no proof that his other son, Amer, will be a threat if he comes home and told the BBC's Simon McCoy that Mr Cameron's plans were "irrational".
