Women bishops: 'You can't change minds overnight'

Reverend Rose Hudson-Wilkin says she is "excited" that the Church of England is formally adopting legislation which means its first female bishops could be ordained in 2015, calling the decision "momentous".

But the speaker's chaplain in the House of Commons said: "There are those who [do not] in their own minds believe that women can be bishops... you can't change people's minds overnight."
