Growth in UK rural areas to outstrip that in cities?

An increase in jobs and productivity in the countryside could soon see the UK's rural economy growing faster than in urban areas, according to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

It says high speed broadband and better transport links could lead to a £35bn increase in the economic output of small villages and towns.
