David Cameron: 'We need to do more' on rural Wales economy

David Cameron said he wants to see more economic development and jobs in rural Wales.

The prime minister was speaking at the Royal Welsh Show at Llanelwedd in Builth Wells where he visited with members of his reshuffled cabinet, including Welsh Secretary Stephen Crabb.

Mr Cameron said the rural economy was a "vital industry" for Wales, employing 45,000 people.

He told BBC Wales environment correspondent Iolo ap Dafydd that there was some "fundamental health" in the rural economy and there was more that could be done to help it.
