Salvage team assessing stranded Solent ship the Hoegh Osaka

Salvage experts are continuing to survey the car transporter Hoegh Osaka which ran aground in the Solent at the weekend.

Once the work is completed, a plan for re-floating the 51,000 tonne ship will be prepared.

The seafarer's union has questioned the design of large car transporters following the incident.
