Lamont: Lord Brittan was a 'clever man and a good friend'

Norman Lamont praised Lord Brittan as a "clever man, a good friend and a kind man".

Leon Brittan has died aged 75 after suffering with cancer.

Lord Lamont praised the the former home secretary for his "very distinguished long career".

"I shall miss a very, very good friend indeed."
