British jihadist Imran Khawaja sentenced to 12 years

A British man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after admitting a series of terror offences.

Imran Khawaja, 27, from west London, spent six months in Syria, where he joined a militant group with links to Islamic State.

Mr Khawaja admitted preparing for acts of terrorism, attending a camp, receiving training and possessing firearms.
