Spy inside al-Qaeda goes public 'to confront jihadists'

An agent who infiltrated al-Qaeda on behalf of British intelligence has spoken to the BBC for the first time.

The individual, who goes by the name of Aimen Dean, is believed to have worked undercover for eight years.

He said he was going public to confront jihadists.
