Meningitis B vaccine: 'No family should go through this pain'

Meningitis can strike without warning and kill a healthy child within hours, but there is a vaccination against one of the worst strains, meningitis B.

The drug was approved for use a year ago, but ministers are still wrangling with its manufacturer over the cost.

Now health professionals from across the UK have written to Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt asking him to speed up its introduction.
