Six arrested at Toddington on immigration offences

Six people are in custody after immigration officers were called to Toddington Services on the M1 in Bedfordshire.

The six were spotted getting out of lorries that had come from Dover overnight.

The port is thought to have seen a rush of immigrants on Tuesday after a strike in France affected services at the Channel tunnel.
