Shirley Oaks abuse survivors: 'We are unstoppable'

Survivors of historical child abuse are increasingly banding together to fight for justice, decades after the alleged abuse has taken place.

More than 100 ex-residents of the former Shirley Oaks children's home in Surrey, which was run by Lambeth Council, say that they have been repeatedly failed by the police and the local authority and are taking matters into their own hands.

They have united to investigate mental, physical and sexual abuse which they claim went on for decades.

The BBC's Home Editor Mark Easton spoke to Raymond Stevenson, a record producer, who was physically abused while he was a resident at the home.
