CPS: Facebook post about teacher stabbing 'got 69 likes'

A 14-year-old boy has been sentenced to 11 years' detention for stabbing a supply teacher in a classroom in Bradford.

The boy stabbed Vincent Uzomah, 50, at Dixons Kings Academy on 11 June.

Speaking outside court, Jonathan Sharp from the CPS said that a Facebook update posted by the boy about the stabbing had "received 69 likes", which was "profoundly distressing" to his victim.
