Child sex abuse cases: Victims still not recognised

A senior police officer has told the BBC that even after high profile child sexual exploitation cases like Rotherham and Rochdale too many people still do not regard those young people who were abused as victims.

Last year alone 85 cases of sexual abuse were reported to the police every day but one officer specialising in child sex abuse said far more go undetected.

Jayne McCubbin reports.
