Home secretary pays tribute to PC David Phillips

Home Secretary Theresa May has paid tribute to PC David Phillips, who was struck and killed by a stolen car in Merseyside.

The 34-year-old was married with two young daughters.

Mrs May said that his death was a reminder of the dangers faced by police officers.
