London man gets damages after being Tasered by police

A man from London has won damages of £8,000 after being Tasered eight years ago while driving home.

Mr Sylvester, 54, said the pain of being Tasered was ''unbelievable''. He wants to see stronger controls on its use.

Statistics disclosed to BBC News suggest that black people are three times more likely to be involved in Taser incidents, than those who are white.
