Labour MP John Woodcock: 'I'd vote for UK strikes in Syria'

Labour MP John Woodcock has said he would vote for UK air strikes in Syria.

David Cameron has promised to try to win MPs' support for strikes targeting Islamic State militants in Syria and Iraq, following Friday's attacks by IS militants in Paris.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said any military response should have the backing of the international community.

John Woodcock said he believed others in the Labour party would also be in favour of increased military action in the region.
