Storm Desmond: Water fills roads in Cumbria and Scotland

Parts of northern England and Scotland are experiencing flooding as Storm Desmond continues to bring heavy rain.

Forty-four severe flood warnings, which indicate danger to life, are in place in the north of England, with two in southern Scotland.

The Met Office is urging against all non-essential travel.
