London Zoo gorilla Kumbuka recaptured after enclosure escape

A gorilla who was tranquilised after escaping from his enclosure at London Zoo is back with his family and "up and grumbling".

The zoo said Kumbuka, a western lowland silverback, had escaped into a secure keepers' area.

Malcolm Fitzpatrick, Senior Curator of Mammals for the Zoological Society of London, said that no-one had been in any danger.
