Doctor ignored bomb warning to operate on girl in Gaza

A leading war surgeon who has operated in conflict zones for more than 20 years has spoken of the moment he ignored a bomb warning to treat an injured girl in Gaza.

"I thought I'm not going to leave her," Dr David Nott told the Victoria Derbyshire programme after receiving a Daily Mirror Pride of Britain award.
