The project helping those maimed and disfigured by war

The Qadour family from Homs in Syria are being treated at a unique project run by Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) in the Jordanian capital Amman.

It carries out advanced reconstructive surgery on victims of war from around the Middle East.

Currently, they are performing around 40 operations a week on the growing numbers of people being maimed and disfigured in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
