Clap for Heroes: Sir Keir Starmer joins in as the applause returns
The weekly applause for NHS workers has returned as Clap for Heroes but the response was more muted than earlier in the year.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer was among the people who took part in Thursday night's clapping, but said it "wasn't enough" and that NHS staff should be "paid properly".
Clap for Carers originally started in March 2020 and lasted for 10 weeks.
