PM Boris Johnson 'hopeful' of 21 June lockdown easing

The prime minister, speaking from a school in London, said the government 'needs time to assess the impact' of each lockdown easing.

Boris Johnson has outlined a strategy that could see restrictions lifted by 21 June - if strict conditions are met.

Schools in England are set to open on 8 March.
