Boris Johnson: Super League 'not good for football'

Boris Johnson has said he will work with football authorities to oppose a new European Super League.

Twelve clubs, six of them from the Premier league, will join AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus and Real Madrid to compete in a midweek competition.

The move has been widely criticised as being motivated by greed by the clubs' owners.
