UK heatwave: Health secretary sets out steps for public to cope with heatwave
The health secretary has said "water, shade and cover" are the steps the public can take to help cope with the heatwave.
Steve Barclay also added people should keep an eye out for vulnerable people and neighbours.
Contingency measures such as extra emergency call handlers and extra hours of capacity for ambulances will be put in place.
