PM marks end of Pope visit to UK with a speech

Prime Minister David Cameron marked the end of the Pope's state visit to the UK with a speech that Pope Benedict responded to.

The Pope's visit took in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and finally Birmingham, where he beatified Cardinal Newman.

David Cameron said the past four days had been "incredibly moving" for the country, and that faith was at the heart of the "new culture of social responsibility" which Britain wanted to build.
