Grylls and Walliams meet Scouts in Cornwall

Chief Scout Bear Grylls and his comedian friend David Walliams made a surprise visit to the Kernow International Scout Jamboree.

The Bodmin event was the first international Jamboree to be held in Cornwall for 16 years, and saw more than 1,500 young people from all over the world participate.

At present there are about 500 young people on the Scout waiting list in Cornwall alone.

Bear Grylls was encouraging more adults to volunteer so that more children can experience the fun of Scouting.
