Rochdale abuse: Police 'failed to protect' young girls

Greater Manchester Police will admit letting down girls who were sexually exploited in Rochdale, according to reports.

The Guardian newspaper says failings by the force will be highlighted in a serious case review due on Friday.

Nine men were sentenced to up to 19 years in prison in May 2012 after being convicted of offences relating to the exploitation of six girls, including rape.

Michael Buchanan reports.
