More rain expected in flooded villages

Another 16 flood warnings have been issued across Kent, Surrey and Sussex by the Environment Agency as residents continue to clear up after earlier heavy rainfall.

In the Canterbury district alone, 9,000 sandbags have been handed out to residents preparing for another night of dowpours and rising waters.
