Wolverhampton and Staffordshire councils collaborate on i54 business park

Two local authorities are working together on the new i54 business park near Wolverhampton.

Labour-led Wolverhampton City Council and Conservative-led Staffordshire County Council are jointly funding a £38m motorway junction for the site on the M54.

But the council's respective leaders, Roger Lawrence and Philip Atkins, have different views on the future of local government.

The two men, who went to school together at Denstone College in north Staffordshire, discussed the issue with Midlands Today's Patrick Burns.
