Devon storm: People trapped by huge waves in Torcross

Emergency services were called to a seafront village after people became trapped in their homes by huge waves.

High winds on Sunday night left Torcross in south Devon under siege from the waves that smashed over the sea defences.

Police said everybody was found safe but a number of properties were damaged.

Winds of up to 65mph swept in during the weekend across the South West.
