Head teachers plan for new school for excluded pupils

A new free school may be set up for pupils who have been excluded from schools in central Bedfordshire.

The school, which would have room for 140 pupils, is being planned by the head teachers of the 10 upper schools.

Central Bedfordshire Council has offered sites in Dunstable and Stotfold but unions have reservations about the scheme.
