Walsall mental health crisis beds to be closed
Patients at a mental health respite and crisis care facility in the West Midlands say they are worried about proposals to end residential care at the centre.
Walsall Council plans to save £100,000 by providing day care services at the Broadway North centre instead.
The authority says it also wants charities and voluntary organisations to help run the services to save money.
Stella Spragg from Walsall, who is campaigning against the changes, says residential care is "desperately needed".
