Police in Syria appeal to UK Muslim women
A leading police officer has urged the wives and mothers of young Muslims to try to prevent them joining anti-government forces in Syria.
Security chiefs think hundreds of people have travelled from the UK to fight in Syria, some of whom have returned.
The new head of the West Midlands counter-terrorism unit warned anyone involved in fighting in Syria was likely to be arrested on their return.
