World War One: How Cadbury brothers went to war
A century ago two members of Birmingham's chocolate-making Cadbury family faced almost impossible choices in World War One.
As Quakers, they fundamentally opposed war and killing. But while Laurence Cadbury opted to save lives in an ambulance unit, his brother Egbert decided to fight and became a pilot.
The BBC has been given access to private letters and has shown them to descendants of the two men for the first time.
Anthony Bartram reports.
