Nick Park 'tempted to bid' on Gromit statues
Nick Park, the creator of Wallace and Gromit, has told the BBC he is "tempted to bid" on one of the 80 giant Gromit statues which are due to be auctioned in Bristol later.
Mr Park said his "amazing summer" involving the Gromit Unleashed, external arts trail had been the result of two years work.
Money raised from the auction will go to Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal,, external the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity.
Auctioneer Tim Wonnacott said each Gromit could sell for about £10,000 each.
