Cornish villages feature in new Mike Leigh film

Seven times Oscar nominated Director Mike Leigh is shooting his latest film in East Cornwall.

The as yet untitled film is based on the life of the impressionist painter Joseph Turner.

The film stars Timothy Spall - and many of the local residents from Kingsand and Cawsand.

The project is being produced by Focus Features, the team behind such recent releases as Anna Karenina, Moonrise Kingdom and Hyde Park on Hudson.
