Fire at Great Trethew Manor Country Hotel

Aerial footage has captured the damage caused by a fire at a manor house hotel in Cornwall.

The fire at the Great Trethew Manor Country Hotel in Horningtops, near Liskeard was so fierce that firefighters had to be withdrawn for their own safety.

Smoke was reported coming from the roof of the three-storey building at about 12:30 BST.

About 50 firefighters from the Cornwall and the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue services tackled the blaze.

No-one was believed to be inside the hotel.
