Cornwall film in Bafta nomination
A film shot in Cornwall with the help of staff and students at Falmouth University has been shortlisted for a prestigious film award.
The short movie called Island Queen cost £1,000 to make.
The film is about a young woman who lives on a small island who becomes pregnant and was shot over a couple of days entirely in Cornwall.
Music for the production was donated by DJ/producer The Last Skeptik.
The film has been listed for Best British Short Film at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards.
