Rescued seal pups return to the sea
A seal pup rescued from below the clock tower in Kingsand, Cornwall in January has been released back into the wild.
Asteroid was one of dozens of seal pups washed-up on beaches around the Devon and Cornwall coastline.
Many of the pups were so young they had to be hand-reared, an RSPCA spokesman said.
Asteroid and two other grey seal pups were released at Combe Martin beach in Devon on Monday morning.
