Lorry fire and crash closes M40 in Warwickshire
A huge lorry fire and a crash closed a section of the M40 motorway in Warwickshire for 13 hours, causing long tailbacks in the area.
Lanes started to reopen in the early evening after being closed for much of the day.
The emergency planning officer for Highways England, Frank Bird, said the lorry fire happened at 03:00 BST on the southbound carriageway, between junctions 15 and 16 for Warwick and Henley-in-Arden.
