Derby's London Road bridge opens after 18 months' work

A new bridge over the railway in Derby had to be inched in to place overnight after a £7m revamp.

Time-lapse footage shows the London Road bridge being gradually moved into place ahead of its opening on Thursday.

The bridge was closed in August 2013 when it was discovered to be unsafe.
