Guide dog owner 'could have been killed' in dog attack
A partially-sighted guide dog owner said he could have died after intervening to stop his dog being attacked by another animal in Torquay.
Robert Boon ended up in the middle of Abbey Road after his dog, Wag, was attacked.
Alun Gwernan-Jones, from the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, said: "It's not uncommon for a dog to have to retire after a serious dog attack."
