Humpback whale filmed off Dartmouth in Devon

A humpback whale has been filmed close to the shore off south Devon.

Pete Green filmed the animal off Dartmouth on Monday and said he often sees whales in the Bay of Biscay.

Dr Peter Evans, from the Sea Watch Foundation, said it had received "several humpback whale sightings around the UK over the last few weeks".

"Normally we get maybe half a dozen sightings in a year, and we've already had that number in three to four weeks," he said.
