Alderney diver recalls cannon discovery surprise

Divers hope to return to the site of Alderney's Elizabethan wreck in September.

It was discovered by fisherman Bertie Cosheril in 1977, who later returned with divers Fred Shaw and Dave Rendell.

Fred Shaw MBE describes the moment he descended on the site, which has now been identified as an unnamed ship sunk in November 1592.
