Paddle out for surfing 'legend' John 'The Duke' Olroy

Surfers in Devon paddled out to scatter the ashes of a "community legend" who inspired generations of surfers.

John 'The Duke' Olroy was a big figure in the South West surfing scene having taken up the sport in his 40s.

He died in 2019 but due to the Covid-19 pandemic his family waited two years to scatter his ashes.
