Terminally ill man calls for NHS drugs change policy

A man from Poole in Dorset who has motor neurone disease is calling on the government to make new drugs available more quickly on the NHS to terminally ill patients.

Andy Culliford, 37, was diagnosed in 2011 and has been told he had between two and five years to live.

In the past year he has spent more than £60,000 on an unlicensed drug which he believes holds out the only hope of extending his life.
